“By teaching you will learn; by learning you will teach”
In the global integration era, the education paradigm has shifted from ‘teaching’ to ‘learning’. Teaching and learning is focusing on the aspects of language that can provide teachers with insights for developing pedagogical procedures in nation. Learning is a fundamentally social activity in schools, workplaces and other environments. Good teaching and learning includes problem solving exercises, cooperative student projects, informal group work, simulations, case studies and role playing. Education is connecting different parts of the world. In this situation education is playing a vital role in the development of any nation. At this junction, Knowledge is one of the important assets of an education system and is critical for its sustainability. Knowledge is information combined with experience, context, interpretation and reflection. It is constructed through an accumulation of facts, procedural rules or heuristics through our daily experience and study. It also involves the intelligence to acquire and apply what one has understood through learning and experience.Desired outcomes within 21st century learning frameworks include learning traditional school subject and contemporary content themes in combination with the interdisciplinary 21st century themes. Our education system must reflect the skills and knowledge essential to success in this era. New technologies such as smart devices and personal learning environments can be used in conjunction with contemporary knowledge building strategies, leading to greater innovation in learning.
